In this short and inspiring course, you will learn what self-esteem is and isn't, how it's built, why it is important, and how easily it is harmed. Discover how your children learn, and how to make sure they're getting the best of you. You will learn specific language skills that communicate love and support so that kids "get it". The deep connections you create will stay into your child's adulthood. Parenting is a powerful journey, full of challenges, learning and joy. Welcome to my presentation!

Dr. Louise Hart

As a professional speaker, Louise delivered over 400 presentations to communities and military families across the nation and beyond. With her Doctorate in Community Psychology, she merged her commitment to families with her passion for Prevention.

Her first book, The Winning Family: Increasing Self-Esteem in Your Children and Yourself uplifts and inspires parents with clear, accessible, positive parenting information that fosters mental health, and well-being. It is based on her extensive experience as an at-home-mom of three children. (She likes to say she has over 150 years of parenting experience!)

On the Wings of Self-Esteem, the book about her personal transformation, is highly praised by Jack Canfield, Dr. Michele Borba, Jerry Jampolsky, and Dr. Bernie Siegel.

Hart's third book, The Bullying Antidote: Superpower Your Kids for Life, inspires parents to build a bully-free world by raising children who will not become, or attract bullies. This is the first parenting book to frame bullying as related to ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences).

Louise is a first generation American, and was the first in her family to ever attend college. She opened the path to higher education to her siblings, her children, and her grandchildren.

Dr. Hart’s life's work has been devoted “to saving kids’ lives” by teaching prevention strategies that create healthy parents, children, teenagers, and communities.
